Toyota 2 to 4-North America production goals might reduce 20%





According to the Japan economic news stories, because of the large vehicle recall events slow sales, cars in Toyota from February to April of North American production may be smaller than the original target of 20% lower.

Reported that Toyota has informed its major supplier, 2-4 month its North American production is expected to be around 35 million units.

Toyota also in February, 1-5, stop the five North American factories of production, and the recent decision of April Kentucky and Texas plant shutdown totals 14 days.

Reports, to recall events continue, Toyota may decline 750 million units of parent company global production in 2010. The goal of the output over the same period last year by nearly 18%.
