European average new car CO2 emissions are rapid decline





Integrated foreign coverage, the United Kingdom market research company JATO Dynamics recently published data show that the average European new car CO2 emissions are reduced, and is quickly towards the new European emission standards by 2015.

Currently, the European average new car CO2 emissions as 145.9g/km, compared with the 2003 reduces 20g/km. In 21 countries in Europe, sales of new cars, nearly half of official CO2 emissions lower than 140g/km, whereas in 2003, this proportion is only 23%.

JATO the European new car CO2 emissions quickly decline reasons attributed to the following car technology development and applications: high fuel economy of petrol engine and diesel engine; hybrid systems; high-end transmission; low rolling resistance tires; aerodynamics; stop-start technology (stop-start technology) and regeneration of the charging system (regenerative charging systems).

According to EU regulations, 2015, Europe, the average new car CO2 emissions must achieve 130g/km.
