Toyota announced to invest $ 100 million in India built engine factory





An integrated electric super car, Japan's largest automobile Toyota manufacturer automobile announced on July 6, Toyota will invest 90 billion yen India (about 1.03 billion) of a new factory to produce Etios models designed for the engine and transmission.

Toyota holds its India parts joint venture for Toyota Kirloska 90% of the shares. Toyota said in a statement, the use of this funding, Toyota Kirloska will build a factory. The factory will start from the autumn of 2012, plan production engine with 10 million units, from the beginning of production in 2013, with transmission scheme for 24 million units. The engine and transmission is mainly used in Toyota specifically for the India market development and production of Etios models. However, part of the transmission will also be exported to other factories of Toyota global.
