Mercedes Benz sales year-over-year in June global 13.2%
Mercedes Benz 's parent company, Daimler 5, announced June Mercedes Benz brand sales increased 13.2%, mainly due to China and the United States market on this luxury car brand in strong demand. Last month the Mercedes Benz brand globally sold 11.33 million car sales over a new all-time high.
June sales year-over-year in the Chinese market increased 177% to 1.37 million units. United States market sales up 20.5% to 1.83 million units. Japan market 26.5%-3400.
Brazil, Russia and India market sales also grew, Daimler announced that the three emerging markets sales year-over-year in June are growing more than 70%. However, the Western European market sales decline 3.6% to 5.81 million units.
This year's first six months of the Mercedes Benz brand's global sales year-over-year increase 15.2% to 55.67 million, of which the Chinese market deliveries increased nearly 120% year-on-year, to 6.05 million, the United States market 21.8% to 10.37 million units.
